Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines within a cloud-based environment
- Develop and maintain data infrastructure using modern tools and best practices
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and analysts to define data requirements
- Manage data workflows, orchestration systems, and monitoring processes
- Build and maintain data products, including data lakes and data warehouses
- Ensure high-quality, maintainable code with proper testing and version control
- Contribute to continuous improvements and innovation within the data platform
Requirements / Skills
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
- Strong expertise in SQL and data transformation tools such as dbt
- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Familiarity with tools such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Run, or Dataproc
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java
- Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools like Airflow
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform)
- Understanding of CI/CD workflows and version control (Git)
- Ability to work in agile, cross-functional teams
Preferred Skills
- Experience with distributed computing tools like Apache Spark
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts or data-driven applications
