The Role: Customer Success Manager
As a Customer Success Manager, you will be the strategic owner for a portfolio of up to 60 customers, responsible for driving their onboarding, adoption, and expansion. This is a highly technical hands-on role where you will act as both a consultant and a product expert, leveraging your CRM and marketing automation knowledge to prove ROI, solve complex technical issues, and build strong advocates. Success means ensuring your customers achieve fast time-to-value and scale their use of Chili Piper.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end customer journey from kick-off, ensuring rapid implementation and demonstrable ROI.

  • Coach customers on advanced use cases, acting as a trusted advisor on sales/marketing tech stacks (Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot).

  • Identify and mitigate risks, present growth opportunities, and act as the primary escalation point for technical issues.

  • Collaborate internally with Sales, Marketing, and Support teams to advocate for customer needs and drive solutions.

  • Build strong customer relationships to develop case studies, references, and identify expansion opportunities for the Account Management team.

  • Create internal best practices and user stories to enhance the customer experience and team efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 1-2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce (Administrator/Implementation); SFDC Certifications are a strong plus.

  • 1-2+ years of experience with Marketing Automation platforms (Marketo, Pardot, HubSpot); relevant certifications are a plus.

  • Technical proficiency is required: A working understanding of Javascript, HTML, and CSS for troubleshooting and implementation support.

  • Proven experience in a technical customer-facing role (Customer Success, Technical Account Management, Solutions Consulting) within a B2B SaaS environment.

  • A motivated, solutions-driven, and conscientious work style, thriving in a fast-paced, fully remote startup.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to manage cross-functional projects.

  • A genuine passion for driving customer success, retention, and expansion.
