The Community and Support Specialist is a hybrid role that splits time between community management and user support. You will help keep our Pro users engaged across channels while also providing expert support to help them build and troubleshoot Applets. You will work with a small collaborative team that interacts with every part of IFTTT giving you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the platform and the user experience

The Opportunity

As a Community and Support Specialist you will manage and engage with users on Reddit, Discord, and App Store reviews. You will respond to questions, posts, and feedback to foster a positive community experience while helping users discover new ways to get value from IFTTT Pro. On the support side you will efficiently triage support tickets, assist users in building Applets using filter code, and create and improve help center documentation

What You’ll Do

Community Management – 50 percent

  • Manage and engage with users on Reddit, Discord, and App Store reviews

  • Respond to questions, posts, and feedback to foster a positive community experience

  • Help users discover new ways to get value from IFTTT Pro

  • Collaborate on campaigns and initiatives to boost community engagement

  • Identify patterns in community discussions that inform product and content improvements

User Support – 50 percent

  • Efficiently triage support tickets from IFTTT users

  • Assist users in building Applets, including using filter code in JavaScript

  • Create, audit and improve help center documentation

  • Identify and reproduce technical issues, suggesting enhancements and improving user experience

  • Become an internal IFTTT expert who can answer product questions from colleagues

Who You Are

  • You have prior experience managing online communities for software or SaaS products

  • You have experience creating and editing help center or knowledge base content

  • You have strong writing and communication skills

  • You have a passion for troubleshooting and problem solving

  • You have experience with community management across multiple platforms including Discord, Reddit, and app stores

  • You have experience interacting with APIs and user authentication (OAuth 2)

  • You have experience with JavaScript

  • You have experience with CRM tools or email support Zendesk preferred

  • You have experience working remotely

  • You have fluency in written and spoken English

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm Eastern Time
