Engineering Opportunity

We’re seeking a versatile AI Product Engineer to join our compact, high-impact team of 10 professionals. This role offers direct influence over our core product development and the opportunity to shape an AI-first presentation editor used by millions globally. The ideal candidate combines full-stack engineering expertise with product intuition and passion for AI-driven innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Stack Product Development:

  • Architect and maintain robust backend services using Python, FastAPI, and modern frameworks

  • Develop intuitive front-end interfaces with NextJS, React, and TypeScript

  • Implement and optimize database structures and query performance

  • Contribute across the entire development lifecycle from conceptual design to production deployment

AI & Machine Learning Integration:

  • Build sophisticated LLM services for automated content generation including text, images, and infographics

  • Develop AI-powered features that enhance presentation creation and customization

  • Optimize AI model performance and integration within the product ecosystem

  • Implement advanced graphics rendering and 2D visualization capabilities

Product Excellence & Innovation:

  • Maintain high quality standards while operating in a fast-paced development environment

  • Collaborate closely with product team to translate user needs into technical solutions

  • Continuously improve system architecture for scalability and performance

  • Stay current with emerging AI technologies and presentation industry trends

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field

  • Proven full-stack development experience with strong product sensibility

  • Proficiency in Python backend development and framework implementation

  • Expertise in NextJS, React, and TypeScript for front-end development

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and server management

  • Demonstrable project experience through professional work or personal initiatives

  • Ability to thrive in rapid-growth environments with evolving priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Python backend frameworks and RAG architectures

  • Knowledge of vector databases and advanced data management systems

  • Familiarity with 2D graphics programming and SVG manipulation

  • Background in fast-paced startup or high-growth technology companies

  • Frontend: NextJS, Zustand, Tailwind, Prisma

  • Backend: Python, FastAPI, Llama Index
