About the Role:
As a Systems Engineer Associate, you will be an integral part of the team managing the container image platform. Responsibilities include applying SRE principles and tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, Thanos, ELK, Pagerduty, AWS CloudWatch), working with container registry products (Harbor or Distribution Registry), ensuring containerized application security, and utilizing cloud provisioning technologies (Terraform or AWS CDK). Experience with Java, Python, or Go, as well as Unix scripting, is desired. The ideal candidate will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and contribute to best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engineer and maintain a widely used OCI-compliant container image platform.
- Utilize SRE principles and tools for monitoring and management.
- Work with container registry products and ensure security best practices.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform (AWS).
- Develop and maintain scripts in Java, Python, or Go.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3+ years of industry experience in CICD with container deployment and management.
- 3+ years of experience deploying infrastructure using Terraform in AWS.
