Role Overview
The FMA Engineer will join the FMA Technical Excellence Chapter, a team dedicated to strengthening JLR’s technical foundation and driving innovation across engineering processes. This position involves enhancing Design Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (DFMEAs) to ensure every engineering decision is informed, precise, and future-ready.

Core Responsibilities
- Apply Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) tools to identify and analyze potential product failures.
- Work with systems engineers to derive boundaries and interfaces using MBSE data.
- Conduct independent DFMEA peer reviews, ensuring technical credibility and excellence.
Desired Skills and Background
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any discipline), Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics.
- Hands-on experience in failure mode avoidance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of standards and test documentation.
- Familiarity with PCDS and agile frameworks.
