Role Overview
Schneider Electric is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to join its Services department and support the integration of Digital Power solutions across customer environments. This role ensures seamless connectivity, robust cybersecurity, and high operational performance for Schneider Electric’s solutions. The position offers a hybrid work setup, balancing remote work with visits to offices and customer sites.
Primary Responsibilities
- Commission, configure, and integrate EcoStruxure Digital Power software with connected devices.
- Conduct end-to-end testing, validation, and troubleshooting of integrated solutions.
- Collaborate with field engineers, project managers, and customers for commissioning and technical support.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and Schneider Electric policies.
- Maintain dashboards and support remote monitoring solutions.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Education & Experience:
- Background in electrical engineering or building automation, with interest or experience in software integration.
- Hands-on experience with Operational Technology (OT) solutions, including EMS, BMS, and SCADA.
- Proficiency in industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, OPC, and a strong understanding of Ethernet.
- Knowledge of energy and power systems and their components.
- Awareness of grid congestion (netcongestion) challenges and solutions.
