Global beverage leader Diageo is seeking a highly skilled Supply Network Design Project Lead to join their Transformation Delivery team. This permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of their global supply chain, enhancing agility, resilience, efficiency, and sustainability.
Based in London, England; Amsterdam, Netherlands; Belfast, Northern Ireland; Dublin, Republic of Ireland; Edinburgh Park; or Glasgow, Scotland, the Project Lead will manage multiple supply network design projects within the company’s ambitious Supply Agility Programme. You will be responsible for designing the optimal supply chain network, considering factors like customer demand, production capacity, costs, service levels, and sustainability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and coordinating supply network design projects to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Analyzing the current supply chain, identifying improvement opportunities, and proposing innovative solutions.
- Developing and maintaining data-driven supply network models to support strategic decision-making and scenario planning.
- Leading and developing a team of Network Modelling Specialists.
- Presenting project outcomes to senior stakeholders, including the GSCO, CFO, and CEO.
- Supporting long-term strategic planning through scenario simulations.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience or a strong conceptual understanding of supply chain network design and optimization, ideally in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to handle complex situations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs.
