Woodside Energy is seeking an experienced and motivated CSU SIMOPS Coordinator to join the Pluto Train 2 project in Karratha, Western Australia.
About the role
As a CSU SIMOPS Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, and initial operations of Pluto Train 2. This is a company-seconded role into Bechtel, working within a multi-disciplined CSU team.
Key responsibilities:
- Facilitate interfaces between departments and resolve potential impacts on other operations.
- Coordinate Train 2 CSU daily operational activities and cascade potential SIMOPS risks.
- Inform Construction, CSU, and SPM Managers of any trends, deviations, or omissions.
- Follow up on the readiness of all planned SIMOPS activities and preparations.
- Provide decisions for any disagreements or conflicts that arise regarding safety or schedule.
Skills and experience:
- A recognized degree in an engineering discipline or 10+ years of operating plant experience with a leadership role.
- In-depth experience related to Process Safety, Construction, Commissioning, and startup of industrial, process, or utility facilities.
- LNG plant experience in operations and commissioning is essential.
- Knowledge of industry and regulatory standards and design criteria pertinent to gas plants.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
