About the Role:
Commonwealth Bank, Australia’s leading financial institution, is seeking a highly skilled F5 Load Balancer Network Engineer to join its dynamic Global Technology Services team. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and support F5 LTM and GTM configurations
- Develop and maintain iRules for complex load balancing scenarios
- Troubleshoot and resolve network and application delivery issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Stay up-to-date with the latest F5 technologies and industry best practices
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong understanding of F5 LTM and GTM modules
- Proficiency in iRule development and troubleshooting
- Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS)
- Knowledge of network security concepts and practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Python, Terraform)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
