Westpac Banking is looking for a Technology Domain Owner to join their Group Operations Technology team in Sydney. This is a permanent, hybrid role that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
About the Role
As a Technology Domain Owner, you will be responsible for all aspects of the Business Village Technology, including strategy, business engagement, discovery, risk, finance, and innovation. You will also be the single point of contact for all technology needs for the programs in Group Operations.
Responsibilities
- Define and oversee the technical roadmap for the platform ecosystem
- Manage the solution’s performance within the domain
- Oversee the management of software licensing and operational expenses
- Develop technical capabilities by identifying skill gaps and establishing learning paths
- Ensure all technology team members adhere to the organization’s software engineering standards
- Promote a mindset of engineering excellence within the chapter
- Establish clear performance metrics for all Technology team members
- Champion the product backlog for Technology
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the Technology team
- Work with the technology organization and other stakeholders to ensure alignment to the Software Engineering Lifecycle (SELC) process
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in operations and process automation
- Essential experience in leading DevSecOps, system integration design, and engineering across enterprise applications and integrations
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Strong knowledge and experience in enterprise architecture
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in financial services is advantageous
