They’re seeking a dynamic and driven Account Manager to join their Molecular Biology Sales team, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in the scientific and healthcare fields.

QIAGEN is known for its commitment to improving lives through innovative “Sample to Insight” solutions. As an Account Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of this mission, working with Diagnostic, Academia, and Biotech customers across Leiden, Wageningen, and Nijmegen.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive sales growth for QIAGEN’s comprehensive product portfolio.
- Build strong customer relationships and understand their unique needs.
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve sales targets.
- Provide expert product demonstrations and training.
- Navigate complex sales processes, including contract negotiations.
- Work from your home office, and travel to customer locations 80% of the time.
Who They’re Looking For:
- A Bachelor of Science degree (or higher) with a strong background in Life Sciences or Molecular Diagnostics.
- Proven sales experience, ideally in the life sciences or related industries.
- Expertise in molecular procedures like DNA/RNA purification, PCR, and Next Generation Sequencing.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
- Located within the Netherlands.
