Drive Industrial Growth: Lead OEM Sales for a Legacy Manufacturing Leader

As we expand our direct OEM partnerships, we seek a strategic and driven Territory Sales Manager to own and grow our presence in the Midwest.
This is a remote, field-based role for a sales professional based in Iowa or the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. You will be the direct link between Ashcroft’s innovative product portfolio and key Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), responsible for managing existing relationships and strategically capturing new business. Your Mission: Be the Strategic Architect for OEM Growth
You will serve as the primary business driver for Ashcroft’s direct OEM sales within your assigned territory. Your focus will be on deepening account penetration and securing new design wins that translate into sustained, recurring revenue.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop & Execute Territory Strategy:Â Own the P&L for your region, creating and implementing a strategic plan to achieve and exceed sales and margin goals for the OEM Direct Sales team.

Manage & Grow Key Accounts:Â Serve as the trusted advisor to existing OEM customers, interfacing with Inside Sales, Product Management, and Engineering to ensure superior service and identify expansion opportunities.

Secure New Business Wins:Â Prospect, qualify, and develop new OEM accounts. Lead the full sales cycle from technical inquiry evaluation to negotiation and contract closure.

Provide Market Intelligence:Â Act as the “eyes and ears” in the field, keeping current on competitor activities, market trends, and customer needs to inform product and marketing strategy.

Champion Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with internal teams to develop compelling commercial and technical proposals that align Ashcroft’s capabilities with specific customer applications.

Utilize CRM Excellence: Leverage Salesforce to manage pipeline, forecast accurately, and document all customer interactions and strategic initiatives.
Who You Are (Qualifications & Skills):

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related technical field.

5+ years of proven success in a technical, B2B sales role, preferably selling engineered components, instrumentation, or capital equipment into manufacturing or industrial OEMs.

A demonstrated ability to understand complex customer applications and translate technical product capabilities into compelling business value.

High proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and the Microsoft Office suite.

An exceptional hunter-farmer mentality, with the discipline to dedicate significant time (~30%) to proactive prospecting and new business development.

Superior communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

A self-motivated, results-oriented professional capable of working productively in a remote setting.

Willingness and ability to travel as necessary within the territory to achieve sales goals.

Must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Legal Resident, or granted Asylee/Refugee status.
