The Opportunity: Support Specialist Finance (m/w/d)

As a Support Specialist Finance, you will be the trusted expert for our clients using INTEGRA® ERP. You will handle first- and second-level support inquiries, focusing on financial accounting and payroll processes. You will diagnose issues, guide clients to solutions, and ensure their software performs flawlessly.
This role is ideal for someone with a finance/accounting background who is curious about ERP systems and enjoys solving complex problems in direct collaboration with clients. You will work closely with our development, consulting, and internal teams to deliver exceptional support.
What You’ll Own
First- & Second-Level Support

Handle incoming support requests via our ticketing system, focusing on financial accounting (Finanzbuchhaltung) and payroll (Lohn & Gehalt) modules of INTEGRA®.

Analyze, classify, and prioritize support cases based on urgency and complexity.

Diagnose issues and provide solutions via phone, email, and remote access.

Ensure clients receive timely, accurate, and empathetic assistance.
Software Updates & Releases

Plan, prepare, execute, and test software updates and new program versions for assigned clients.

Ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruption to client operations.
Documentation & Knowledge Management

Document support cases, solutions, and processes meticulously in our knowledge base.

Contribute to internal documentation and client-facing materials.
User Training & Enablement

Conduct end-user training sessions (individual or group) to help clients maximize their use of INTEGRA®.

Provide guidance on best practices for financial processes within the ERP.
Project Support

Assist with ERP implementations, updates, and sub-projects as part of the consulting team.

Collaborate closely with development, consulting, and internal departments to resolve complex issues and improve product functionality.
What You Bring (Required Qualifications)
Education & Experience
-
Completed commercial vocational training (e.g., Buchhalter/in, Steuerfachangestellte/r) or equivalent qualification.

Several years of professional experience in financial accounting (Finanzbuchhaltung) is highly advantageous.

Experience in IT support, user support, or ERP environment is desirable but not mandatory—training will be provided.
Technical & Financial Knowledge

Strong understanding of commercial processes, including:

Accounts receivable (Debitoren)

General ledger (Hauptbuch)

Payroll accounting (Lohn & Gehalt)

Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel.

Familiarity with ERP systems or financial software is a plus.
Language Proficiency

Professional fluency in German (C1/C2) – required for daily client communication via phone, email, and remote sessions.
