Job Description: Senior Full Stack Engineer – Remote

Your Mission:
To be a key technical driver in enhancing our platform. You will own the implementation of new features from the customer-facing React frontend to the robust Python/Django backend and scalable data infrastructure, ensuring we deliver exceptional value as we scale.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain our customer-facing web application and API products. Own new features end-to-end, from React/TypeScript frontends to Python/Django backends and PostgreSQL/NoSQL data stores.

Contribute to the design and optimization of application architectures that are highly scalable, reliable, and secure. Build and maintain RESTful APIs and background worker services that process massive data volumes.

Work closely with product teams on lean UX decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional peers to architect, deploy, and monitor features in AWS. Continuously troubleshoot and optimize systems for peak performance and security.

Design and optimize relational databases, complex queries, and data structures. Gain hands-on experience with Celery for task queues and scalable distributed systems.
What You Bring (Required Qualifications):

5+ years of professional full-stack development experience with a strong command of Python, Django, TypeScript, React, and MySQL/PostgreSQL.

Proven ability to design and implement highly scalable, reliable, and secure web application architectures.

Solid understanding of relational database design, querying, and optimization. Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs.

Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-based deployments. Strong understanding of Git workflows and version control.

Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to maintain a 4-hour daily overlap with US Mountain Time (MT) for collaboration.
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Haves):

Experience with Docker containerization.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like GitHub Actions.

Knowledge of NoSQL databases like OpenSearch/Elasticsearch for search functionalities.

Good UI/UX sensibilities to identify and advocate for product improvements.
