Job Description: Senior Frontend Engineer (TypeScript / Next.js) – Remote

Your Role & Impact:
You will be a key contributor in developing and improving high-performance, scalable web applications. Your work will directly influence our product quality and user experience, leveraging the latest in React and Next.js while maintaining a strong focus on operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Build and enhance performant web applications using the latest TypeScript, Next.js (16+), and React (19+) standards, including React Server Components.

Make critical decisions on application architecture, including routing strategies, state management, data fetching, and rendering (SSR/SSG).

Establish and enforce code quality standards through modern tooling (ESLint, Prettier, Biome, Vite) and CI/CD practices.

Support the deployment, basic maintenance, and monitoring of web services using Docker/Podman and configure production-ready reverse proxies like Nginx.

Utilize AI-supported coding approaches intelligently to boost productivity while ensuring code remains readable, consistent, and maintainable.
What You Bring (Required Qualifications):

Several years of professional experience with TypeScript and in-depth, hands-on knowledge of Next.js 16+ and React 19+, including React Server Components.

Practical experience with containerization (Docker/Podman), container registries, and configuring reverse proxies (Nginx, Traefik, Caddy, or HAProxy) for production.

A structured, clean approach to coding with high personal standards for quality and performance.

Good written and spoken communication skills in both English and German.
Preferred Qualifications (Advantages):

Experience with modern frontend tooling like Vite.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, application observability, and advanced performance optimization techniques.
