The Role: Core Systems Architecture Leadership
We are seeking an accomplished Senior C++ Engineer to lead the architectural design and development of our high-performance trading infrastructure. This position offers the opportunity to shape the technological foundation of our trading operations while mentoring a team of elite engineers. You will bridge the critical gap between quantitative research, trading strategy, and engineering excellence in a high-stakes, performance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Systems Architecture & Development:

Lead the design and implementation of ultra-low-latency trading systems including order execution engines, market data processing, and risk management platforms

Architect fault-tolerant, high-throughput systems capable of processing millions of transactions with sub-microsecond latency

Drive performance optimization initiatives across software and hardware layers to minimize latency and maximize system reliability

Develop and maintain critical infrastructure components including connectivity gateways, messaging frameworks, and monitoring systems
Technical Leadership & Mentorship:

Establish and enforce engineering best practices through code reviews, technical guidance, and architectural oversight

Mentor junior and mid-level engineers in advanced C++ development, performance optimization, and system design principles

Collaborate with quantitative researchers and trading teams to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions

Drive the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies including kernel bypass, RDMA, and hardware acceleration
Performance Engineering:

Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks through sophisticated profiling and benchmarking methodologies

Implement advanced concurrency patterns and lock-free programming techniques

Optimize system performance through CPU cache utilization, memory allocation strategies, and network stack tuning
Required Qualifications

5-7+ years of professional C++ development experience in latency-sensitive environments

Expert knowledge of modern C++ standards (C++17/20/23) including templates, metaprogramming, and memory management

Deep understanding of low-level systems programming, concurrency, and multi-threading architectures

Proven experience optimizing high-performance systems for minimum latency and maximum throughput

Strong background in network programming, distributed systems, and real-time data processing

Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience mentoring engineering teams
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in high-frequency trading, market making, or proprietary trading environments

Knowledge of financial market microstructure, exchange protocols, and order matching systems

Experience with hardware acceleration technologies including FPGA, GPU, or kernel bypass networking

Base Salary:Â $180,000 per year
