This role is a unique opportunity for an experienced in-house security professional ready to leverage their deep technical expertise in a high-growth, customer-facing role. You will transition from operational security to revenue-driving technical sales, working directly with Fortune 500 CISOs while staying on the leading edge of AI security innovation.

The Role: Security Solutions Engineer
As a Security Solutions Engineer, you will be the critical technical bridge between our advanced AI platform and enterprise customers. This role combines pre-sales engineering (70%) with post-sales implementation (30%) to drive deal closure and accelerate customer success. You will use your hands-on security experience to build trust, design tailored solutions, and demonstrate undeniable ROI, directly impacting our revenue and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Sales & Revenue Execution (70%):

    • Serve as the trusted technical advisor during sales cycles, using your in-house experience to connect with prospect challenges and drive deal closure.

    • Design and deliver compelling product demonstrations and proof-of-concept (POC) engagements that achieve target conversion rates.

    • Architect tailored security solutions that integrate with enterprise environments and demonstrate clear business value.

    • Provide competitive technical intelligence and enable the sales team with deep domain expertise.

  • Implementation & Customer Success (30%):

    • Lead technical onboarding for new customers, ensuring rapid time-to-value and a seamless implementation.

    • Act as a strategic security advisor, guiding customers on vulnerability management best practices and program optimization.

    • Develop success plans with measurable milestones to ensure long-term retention and customer satisfaction.

    • Serve as the primary voice of the customer, relaying critical feedback to our Product and Engineering teams.

Who You Are (Qualifications):

  • 5+ years of hands-on, in-house enterprise security experience in roles such as Vulnerability Management, Security Operations (SecOps), or Cyber Risk.

  • Deep, operational expertise with vulnerability management tools, processes, frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001), and enterprise security architecture.

  • A proven consultative mindset with the exceptional ability to translate complex technical features into tangible business outcomes for both technical teams and C-level executives.

  • Strong relationship-building skills and a track record of driving measurable security improvements.

  • Clear motivation to transition from an internal security role to a customer-facing, revenue-impact position at a vendor.

  • Comfort and agility working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.

Ideal “Nice-to-Have” Qualifications:

  • Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.).

  • Hands-on experience with major VM platforms (Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7).

  • Understanding of AI/ML applications in cybersecurity.

  • Prior customer-facing experience in consulting, training, or advisory roles.
