The Opportunity: HR Representative
We are seeking an HR Representative to join our People Operations team on a part-time, remote basis. In this role, you will be the human backbone of our global workforce, ensuring our distributed team feels supported, connected, and empowered to do their best work.
This is a generalist HR role with broad exposure across the employee lifecycle. You will support recruitment coordination, onboarding, employee relations, policy implementation, and culture initiatives. You will work directly with leadership and team members across multiple time zones.
This role is ideal for a seasoned HR professional seeking flexible, project-based engagement, or an emerging HR practitioner ready to grow their skills in a fast-paced, mission-driven tech environment.
What You’ll Do (Role & Responsibilities)

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Support

Partner with hiring managers to coordinate recruitment activities across global time zones.

Schedule interviews, manage candidate communications, and ensure a seamless, high-touch candidate experience.

Support offer letter preparation and new hire onboarding logistics.

Maintain accurate candidate and employee records.
Employee Relations & Engagement

Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and workplace matters.

Support the execution of remote-first engagement initiatives and virtual team events.

Assist in fostering an inclusive, connected culture across 22+ countries.
HR Operations & Compliance

Maintain and update employee data in HR systems.

Support the implementation and documentation of HR policies and procedures.

Assist with benefits administration and leave coordination (as applicable).

Ensure compliance with local employment regulations across distributed work locations.
Culture & Internal Communications

Contribute to internal newsletters, announcements, and culture-building content.

Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

Help translate Blackfluo.ai‘s mission and values into daily people practices.
Who You Are (Qualifications & Profile)
Required Experience & Skills
-
2+ years of HR experience (recruitment coordination, HR generalist, or people operations roles).

Strong understanding of HR fundamentals: recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and recordkeeping.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and asynchronously in a fully remote environment.

Comfortable using HRIS tools, productivity software, and remote collaboration platforms (Slack, Notion, Google Workspace, etc.).
Preferred Attributes

Experience working in a startup, SaaS, or technology company.

Familiarity with global or remote-first HR practices.

Knowledge of AI tools, recruitment technology, or HR automation platforms.

Experience supporting teams across multiple countries and time zones.
Work Schedule & Availability

Part-time engagement (approximately 15–25 hours per week).
