Are you a passionate Community Builder eager to lead and scale a thriving global B2B network? The Tech Tribe is seeking a strategic Head of Community to own the end-to-end experience for our 10,000+ members across 4,000+ managed service provider (MSP) businesses.

This is a high-impact, fully remote leadership role where you will be the architect of connection, engagement, and retention for a passionate global tribe. If you have a proven track record of building B2B communities, leading teams, and driving engagement through both digital and in-person initiatives, we want you to help us write our next chapter.

Your Mission:

To reignite and scale our community engagement by crafting a world-class member experience. You will develop and execute the strategic vision for our community initiatives, fostering a culture of support, networking, and shared success that directly contributes to member retention and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the annual vision, strategy, budget, and hiring plan for the global Tech Tribe community.

  • Lead initiatives to grow engagement metrics in our core forum, fostering a supportive and active text-based environment.

  • Design and manage networking initiatives, member onboarding journeys, awards/recognition programs, and results-focused groups to deepen member relationships.

  • Oversee a calendar of high-value virtual and in-person events, including an industry influencer program.

  • Own community moderation guidelines, lead the moderation team, and develop vendor partnership initiatives that benefit members.

  • Establish KPIs to measure community health, implement regular feedback loops via surveys and advisory panels, and report on business impact.

  • Start as an individual contributor and gradually build, mentor, and manage a dedicated community team.

Who You Are (The Ideal Candidate):

  • A proven leader with experience building, managing, and growing B2B communities.

  • Has a history of leading community teams and is equally adept as a hands-on contributor and a people manager.

  • Comfortable and active in text-based community platforms and willing to show up on camera and at in-person events.

  • A genuine “people geek” who believes deeply in the power of connection and service.

  • Excels in a fully remote, async-friendly environment.

  • Has at least 2 hours of daily overlap with Sydney, Australia business hours (GMT+11). Location in Australia or NZ is a significant plus.

  • Experience in the MSP or broader tech industry is highly advantageous.
