The Role: Director of Revenue
As the Director of Revenue, you will be the primary owner of our agency’s revenue engine. You will personally drive key sales initiatives while leading and mentoring our Growth team. You will architect go-to-market strategy, lead client presentations and negotiations, and ensure our sales process aligns perfectly with our culture and technical capabilities. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a high-trust, high-autonomy environment and is passionate about connecting with people to solve meaningful problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the agency’s top-line revenue target. Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy, communicating it clearly to sales, marketing, and customer success teams.

  • Play a direct role in critical sales initiatives—from demos and presentations to complex negotiations, scoping, and contracting.

  • Provide mentorship and feedback to the Growth team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration.

  • Scale conversations from high-level strategy to technical details (WordPress, SEO, analytics) to diagnose client challenges and align solutions with our capabilities.

  • Build genuine connections with prospects and clients, focusing on partnership beyond just business transactions.

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of successful sales or sales management experience within a web design, development, or digital agency.

  • A proven track record of personally closing and managing complex, high-value deals.

  • A firm, practical grasp of digital strategy, web design/development, SEO, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Google Analytics).

  • Excellent communication and empathy skills, with the ability to engage effectively with executives and stakeholders.

  • A goal-oriented, detail-driven approach with a proven ability to set and achieve meaningful targets.

  • A flexible, “no job is beneath me” attitude and a love for dynamic, multi-initiative environments.
