Lead the Future of Data Engineering and Cloud Infrastructure
Coders Brain Technology is seeking a DataOps Lead to join our team and take ownership of designing and managing highly scalable solutions for data pipelines. In this role you will build the foundation for collecting storing modeling and analyzing massive data sets from multiple channels working with some of the largest Fortune 500 companies in the world

The Opportunity
As a DataOps Lead you will align our solutions with key client initiatives interfacing daily with customers across leading Fortune 500 companies to understand strategic requirements. You will connect with VP and Director level clients on a regular basis travel to client locations and translate business requirements into technology solutions. You will provide technical leadership manage day to day operations and play a key role in hiring and developing technical talent
What You’ll Do
Client Engagement and Strategy

Interface daily with customers across leading Fortune 500 companies to understand strategic requirements

Connect with VP and Director level clients on a regular basis

Travel to client locations as needed

Translate business requirements into technology solutions
Technical Leadership and Architecture

Design manage and deploy highly scalable and fault tolerant distributed components using Big Data technologies

Evaluate and choose technology stacks that best fit client data strategy and constraints
-
Architect implement and maintain Big Data solutions

Provide technical leadership and guide the team in day to day design automation and support tasks
-
Play a key role in hiring technical talent to build the future of the team
Automation and DevOps Excellence

Drive industry leading CI CD monitoring and support practices inside the team

Develop scripts to automate DevOps processes and reduce team effort
-
Work with the team to develop automation and resolve issues
-
Design rosters and escalation matrices for the team
Pipeline Management and Support
-
Support TB scale pipelines and perform root cause analysis for production errors

Support developers in day to day DevOps operations
-
Ensure excellent application support integration development and data management

Who You Are
-
You have 8 to 12 years of relevant work experience with a Computer Science or related technical degree

You have a proven track record of building and shipping large scale engineering products

You have experience with cloud infrastructure such as Azure or AWS
-
You have experience in Python or Java programming or any scripting language

You have experience managing Linux systems

You have experience with build and release tools like Jenkins

You have effective communication skills both written and verbal
-
You can collaborate with a diverse set of engineers data scientists and product managers

You are comfortable in a fast paced start up environment
Preferred Qualifications

Support experience in the Big Data domain

Experience architecting implementing and maintaining Big Data solutions

Experience with the Hadoop ecosystem including HDFS MapReduce Oozie Hive Impala Spark Kerberos and Kafka

Experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes

Experience with configuration management systems

Experience with CI CD pipelines
