About the Role: Executing Sophisticated Strategies in Digital Asset Markets

Are you a disciplined and analytical trader with a proven track record in volatile markets? WorkinVirtual is conducting a confidential search for a Crypto Trader to manage a substantial digital asset portfolio for a private trading firm. This is a high-stakes, performance-driven role for a professional who thrives on market analysis and strategic execution.

You will leverage advanced trading algorithms, real-time blockchain analytics, and deep technical analysis to identify and capitalize on opportunities across centralized and decentralized exchanges. Your expertise in risk management and portfolio strategy will be critical in generating alpha and preserving capital in the dynamic cryptocurrency landscape.

Key Responsibilities: Analyze, Execute, and Optimize

• Conduct in-depth technical analysis and fundamental analysis of cryptocurrency markets using charting platforms (TradingView) and on-chain analytics tools (Glassnode, Nansen).

• Execute trades across multiple asset classes (spot, futures, options) and venues (CEXs & DEXs) based on proprietary strategies and quantitative models.

• Develop, backtest, and implement automated trading strategies and scripts to capitalize on market inefficiencies and arbitrage opportunities.

• Implement strict risk management protocols, including position sizing, stop-loss strategies, and portfolio hedging to manage drawdowns and volatility.

• Monitor, analyze, and report on portfolio performance, P&L attribution, and strategy effectiveness to senior management.

• Stay ahead of market trends, new protocol launches, regulatory developments, and macroeconomic factors impacting digital asset valuations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in active cryptocurrency trading or digital asset management with a verifiable track record.

• Deep expertise in technical analysis (candlestick patterns, indicators, market structure) and familiarity with on-chain metrics.

• Experience with algorithmic trading, backtesting frameworks, and basic scripting (Python preferred).

• Proficiency with major trading platforms (Binance, Bybit, Coinbase Advanced), DeFi interfaces, and portfolio tracking software.

• Strong understanding of derivatives (perpetual futures, options) and their application in portfolio management.

• A disciplined, data-driven mindset with exceptional emotional control and decision-making under pressure.

• Ability to work autonomously in a 24/7 market environment within a fully remote work structure.
