The Role: Co-Founder & Research Scientist
This is a foundational, equity-based co-founder position for a PhD-level scientist ready to transcend the traditional lab bench and build something unprecedented. You will lead the scientific direction while sharing fully in strategic, operational, and business decisions. This is a sweat-equity commitment where your compensation is direct ownership in the company and its intellectual property. We are looking for a leader who embodies grit, ownership, and a passion for turning research into real-world impact.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, lead, and conduct cutting-edge experimental research in biotech, molecular biology, or computational biology.

Develop novel approaches with a focus on sustainability, diagnostics, or AI-enabled therapeutics.

Oversee lab operations, mentor junior researchers, and help build a collaborative, high-performance team culture.

Actively contribute to business strategy, fundraising, partnership development, and the long-term vision of the venture.

Publish high-impact findings and represent the company in the global scientific community.
Who You Are (Qualifications):

PhD in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Computational Biology, or a directly related field.

A proven track record of research leadership and high-quality publications.

Strong analytical and technical skills (e.g., Python/R, CRISPR, single-cell sequencing, ML/AI tools).

An entrepreneurial mindset and readiness to commit significant sweat equity for long-term, equity-based rewards.

Adaptable, self-directed, and motivated by collaboration and building from the ground up.

Enthusiastic about relocating to and thriving in the unique cultural and natural environment of Chiang Mai, Thailand.
