Your Impact:

You will be a key contributor to our clinical development team, ensuring the accuracy, relevance, and robustness of the coding logic within our software products. Your work will enhance the user experience for healthcare professionals and support better patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, code, modify, and validate inpatient and outpatient coding content for Solventum’s healthcare software products.

  • Test product content to simulate real-world client environments, ensuring logic performs accurately against variations in clinical documentation terminology.

  • Utilize your coding background and knowledge to enhance the client experience, offering alternative coding paths and keywords based on authoritative expertise.

  • Apply independent judgment to address software concerns, deal with complex coding scenarios, and contribute to product enhancement.

  • Manage multiple tasks, meet critical deadlines, and maintain meticulous organization in a fast-paced, remote team environment.

What You Bring (Required Qualifications):

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher PLUS a minimum of 4 years of hospital inpatient coding experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.

  • A High School Diploma/GED PLUS a minimum of 8 years of hospital inpatient coding experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.

  • A current AHIMA coding certification (e.g., RHIA, RHIT, CCS) is required.

  • Expert-level proficiency with the ICD-10-CM and PCS coding systems.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills. Proven ability to work independently and communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) in a team-oriented, remote setting.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Work Location: This is a fully remote position based in the United States.

Onboarding Note: New hires will be required to travel to a designated company location for a paid, company-coordinated on-site onboarding experience.
