Crafting Exceptional Events: Your Mission
As the Senior Marketing Specialist, you will be the driving force behind the planning, coordination, and execution of NIB’s internal and external meetings, events, and conferences. From managing logistics and budgets to developing innovative marketing strategies, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring each event is a resounding success. Your responsibilities will include:
- Meticulous event planning and execution, from venue selection to audiovisual arrangements.
- Strategic budget management, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
- Collaboration with internal departments and external vendors to create seamless experiences.
- Relationship building with sponsors and stakeholders to maximize engagement and growth.
- Proactive problem-solving to address any challenges that may arise.
- Developing and implementing sponsorship strategies to secure funding and in-kind contributions.
Your Toolkit for Success
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Six or more years of meeting planning experience.
- Certified Meeting Planning (CMP) certification (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Monday.com, HubSpot, and event planning software (Cvent suite, Smart Table).
- Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms like Zoom.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
