About the Role
The GIS Development & Data Analyst will play a key role in developing and maintaining GIS-related software applications and providing complex analytics on geospatial data. This individual will leverage their expertise in GIS technologies and programming languages to collect, store, analyze, and present data in a meaningful way. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of ArcGIS/ArcFM Desktop, ArcGIS Server, programming languages (VB, C, Python, JavaScript), and SQL.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain GIS software applications
- Perform complex analytics on geospatial data
- Create maps, graphs, and other visualizations
- Conduct research and gather data from various sources
- Provide technical support and training to users
- Collaborate with IT and business units on GIS projects
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in GIS development and data analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geographical Technology, Information Systems, or a related field
- Strong programming skills (VB, C, Python, JavaScript)
- Experience with ArcGIS/ArcFM Desktop, ArcGIS Server, and SQL
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
