The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is seeking computer scientists to fill cybersecurity roles. These are remote positions with a salary range of $86,962 to $186,854 per year.
The CDC is looking for individuals with a strong background in computer science and experience in cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, as well as experience in planning, analyzing, developing, implementing, maintaining, and enhancing information system security program policies.
These positions are open to all US citizens and are being filled through the OPM’s Direct Hire Authority. This means that veterans’ preference and traditional rating and ranking of applicants do not apply.
