In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will be instrumental in building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers The Hartford’s cutting-edge Generative AI applications. The position focuses on designing, developing, and deploying robust data pipelines to solve complex problems and drive innovation at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build fault-tolerant infrastructure for Generative AI architectures (RAG, Summarization, Agent).
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Collaborate with cloud, security, and data science teams to implement platform solutions.
- Design and build data ingestion pipelines for fine-tuning LLM models.
- Build feedback systems for supervised finetuning.
Ideal Candidate:
The Hartford is looking for a versatile engineer with a strong background in data-intensive solutions and distributed computing. Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience designing and building data-intensive solutions.
- 4+ years of experience with AWS cloud.
- Proficiency in Python and Java.
- Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks.
- Experience with vector stores, and database optimization.
