Job Description
We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge AI solutions. You will work alongside a team of experts to build and scale agentic AI frameworks that will enhance productivity and help AbbVie find cures faster.
Responsibilities
- Deliver clean, scalable, and well-optimized Python code.
- Work with a team of experts to determine optimal system design.
- Develop sensible unit tests and anticipate edge cases.
- Implement agentic workflows, from scratch where necessary.
- Understand the LLM landscape and help to evaluate the right tools for the right tasks.
- Support multiple projects and advocate for optimal solutions.
- Learn new skills and approach problems creatively.
- Work within constraints, including cost and security.
- Multi-task and work within timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and 4 years of experience, or a master’s degree and 2 years of experience.
- Advanced Python skills.
- Understanding of data structures and principles of optimal algorithm design.
- Experience working with foundational language models and LLM frameworks.
- Deep understanding of structured outputs, output validation, and other agentic concepts.

- Salary: $71,000 – $134,500
- Travel: 5% of the Time
- Location: Remote
