What You’ll Do:
As a Human Resource Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the FWS’s mission by providing comprehensive HR services to employees and managers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Recruitment and Placement: Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from posting vacancies to onboarding new hires.
- Classification and Compensation: Ensuring positions are accurately classified and employees are compensated fairly.
- Employee Relations: Providing guidance and support on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and performance management.
- Labor Relations: Assisting with the administration of collective bargaining agreements and resolving labor disputes.
- Policy Interpretation: Interpreting and applying HR laws, regulations, and policies.

What You’ll Need:
- Experience: You must have experience in the full range of human resources management functions.
- Knowledge: A strong understanding of HR laws, regulations, and policies.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field is preferred.
