Abu Dhabi, UAE – Aldar Properties, a leading real estate developer in the UAE, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced UAE National for a Senior Associate role in their Corporate Communications team. The successful candidate will support the execution of Aldar’s comprehensive communications strategy, collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners. This diverse role encompasses various aspects of corporate communications, including financial, sustainability, retail, and leadership communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing media relations, from securing interviews to organizing international familiarization trips and developing spokesperson briefs.
- Overseeing speaking engagements at prominent events, including identifying opportunities and preparing briefing materials.
- Crafting compelling content in both English and Arabic, such as press releases, feature articles, speeches, newsletters, and talking points.
- Collaborating with the social media team to create engaging content across multiple formats.
- Supporting communications plans for new development launches, targeting both local and international markets.
- Working with the sponsorship team to leverage local and international partnerships with media and influencers.
- Managing quarterly updates to Aldar’s corporate presentation.
- Monitoring, measuring, and reporting on media coverage to company leadership.
- Collaborating with communications agencies to execute communication plans across the group.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Communications or a related field is required.
- A minimum of six years of relevant experience in a communications agency or corporate setting is essential.
- Prior experience working with a real estate company or as an agency consultant is preferred.
- Knowledge of the UAE real estate sector is a distinct advantage.
- Strong project management skills are a must.
- Excellent writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills are crucial.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic is essential.
