Salary: $95,000 – $130,000 annually + bonus
Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Actuarial Analyst to join our Global Actuarial Team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and growing company with a strong reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain quantitative tools for risk pricing and portfolio management.
- Collaborate with the data and analytics team to ensure data integrity.
- Provide insights into business performance using various tools and techniques.
- Offer technical support to underwriters in Excel and SQL.
- Utilize external data to improve pricing methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Actively pursuing the FCAS designation.
- 4+ actuarial exams passed.
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- VBA, SQL, or R proficiency is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
