Merck Seeks Remote Quality Manager for Supplier Compliance (Pay: $94K-$148K)
Merck, a leading global pharmaceutical company, is expanding its remote workforce with an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Quality Systems & Compliance – Purchasing Controls. This role, offering a competitive salary range of $94,300 to $148,500, focuses on ensuring the quality and compliance of medical device combination product suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing all phases of purchasing controls for MDCP suppliers, including planning, evaluations, audits, and quality agreements.
- Supporting supplier audits as a Medical Device SME.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address supplier-related deviations and CAPAs.
- Leading quality and compliance risk assessments.
- Ensuring compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 4 and Part 820, EU MDR:2017/745, and ISO 13485:2016.
What Merck is Looking For:
- A B.S. degree in Science or Engineering with at least seven years of relevant experience.
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical, medical devices, and combination products.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and experience in supplier quality management.
- Experience with SAP and Veeva Vault systems.
- Ability to travel up to 25%
