The Role:
As a Network Engineer, you will be an integral part of a team working on diverse projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing and consolidating requirements for Network & Security architecture.
- Designing, developing, implementing, deploying, and testing Network & Security architectures.
- Defining networking solutions and configuring networking equipment (LAN/WAN).
- Defining Network and System Management processes.
- Providing specialist support during maintenance phases.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of data communications systems (Wired, Satellite, Radio/Mobile).
- Expertise in networking protocols and equipment configuration (Routers, Switches, Firewalls). Experience with Cisco and Fortinet products is preferred.
- Familiarity with Network and System Management (NMS) solutions.
- Knowledge of virtual platforms, operating systems, databases, and computing tools.
- Understanding of security engineering frameworks.
- Availability to work on defense/military projects and undergo Security Clearance.
- Willingness to travel (Italy and abroad).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- English language proficiency (B1/B2 level).
- Degree in computer engineering, telecommunication engineering, or a similar field.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
