Position Overview:
The SAM will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and market adoption of Medtronic’s innovative GI product portfolio. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor and product expert, educating healthcare providers on the clinical advantages of cutting-edge solutions such as Pillcam, Bravo, Barrx, Endoflip, Manoscan, Nexpowder, and GI Genius.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales targets by developing and executing strategic account plans.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders within hospitals and healthcare organizations.
- Deliver impactful presentations and product demonstrations to physicians and clinical staff.
- Provide comprehensive clinical education and support on Medtronic’s GI technologies.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external partners to drive product adoption.
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth.
- Stay abreast of industry developments and maintain a high level of clinical expertise.
- Utilize Salesforce.com for effective territory management and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Life Sciences, Medicine, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven field sales experience, preferably in the medical device industry.
- Demonstrated ability to exceed sales quotas and drive business growth.
- Strong clinical acumen and ability to articulate complex technical information.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.com.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
