Revolutionizing Cloud Storage:
The Lyve Cloud team is focused on developing next-generation cloud, storage, security, and user experience solutions. As a Lead Cloud Principal Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the architecture and future of the Lyve Cloud platform, working on products that span from the edge to the cloud.
What You’ll Do:
- Define and implement the overall architecture of the Lyve Cloud.
- Lead and mentor a small engineering team.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technology trends and best practices.
- Foster a positive engineering culture.
- Develop proof-of-concept solutions and prototypes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive engineering excellence.
What You’ll Need:
- Extensive experience with agile development processes.
- Deep understanding of cloud service engineering, tools, migration, and management.
- Strong knowledge of distributed architectures, containers, and serverless technologies.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD, SRE, DevOps, networking, and testing.
- Proficiency with large-scale distributed technologies like Kubernetes, Kafka, and Cassandra.
- Coding experience in languages such as GoLang, Java, C/C++, and Python.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
