Role Overview:
Circuit is seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer with a strong focus on front-end development using React and TypeScript. In this fully remote role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing and developing our web-based product, Circuit for Teams. You will collaborate closely with product managers and designers, contributing to the entire software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain user-facing web applications using React and TypeScript, with a focus on front-end architecture and performance.
- Contribute to back-end development using Node.js as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring application reliability and scalability.
- Proactively identify and implement improvements to enhance user experience and system performance.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with React and TypeScript.
- Proficiency in back-end development with Node.js.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience building and deploying user-facing web applications.
- Comfortable with asynchronous work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Firebase, monitoring tools, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Experience working in a product-led company.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Contributions to open-source projects.
