Your Mission:

As an L2 Software Engineer, you’ll be more than just a coder. You’ll be a problem-solver, a collaborator, and an owner of your work. You’ll have the opportunity to learn, grow, and deliver impactful solutions that directly affect the lives of healthcare professionals and patients.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and Maintain Features: Build and maintain scalable, performant features using TypeScript, React, Node.js, and NestJS. Work with backend services leveraging MongoDB, Postgres, and Redis.
• Create Reusable Components: Contribute to clean, modular code for web and mobile (Ionic/React, Dart/Flutter) applications. Collaborate with the DevX team to improve tooling and efficiency.
• Own the Development Lifecycle: Take ownership of the entire software development process, from design and development to testing, deployment, and production support.
• Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with product managers and customers to understand their needs and ensure your solutions meet those needs. Participate actively in our remote-first culture, embracing asynchronous communication and collaboration.
• Focus on the User: Maintain a customer-centric approach in all your work, from bug fixes to new feature development. Participate in on-call rotations (typically one week per month).

What You’ll Bring:

• 2-4 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, React, Node.js, and NestJS.
• Familiarity with AWS (ECS, Terraform) deployment processes or a strong willingness to learn.
• A growth mindset and a passion for tackling new challenges.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies (integration, E2E, unit).
• A scrappy, customer-focused approach and a desire to make a real impact.
