Role Overview:
As a Senior Product Designer, you will be instrumental in designing and enhancing our suite of artist tools, including DistroVid and Mixea. You will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to create intuitive and engaging user experiences that drive growth and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design process for new features and improvements, from concept to implementation.
- Develop and maintain a cohesive design language across multiple products.
- Conduct user research to understand artist needs and translate insights into actionable design solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define project scope and requirements.
- Create high-fidelity prototypes and design specifications.
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, including company leadership.
- Contribute to the growth of the design culture through mentoring, process improvement, and design reviews.
- Design consumer-facing web and mobile products at scale.
- Translate business objectives into customer-centered problems.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Senior Product Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design projects.
- Expertise in user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma.
- Strong understanding of web and mobile design best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience designing features that encourage organic sharing and viral engagement.
- Familiarity with the music industry, digital distribution platforms, and/or subscription businesses.
- Ability to balance big thinking with incremental rollout strategies.
- Experience with programming and technical tools such as HTML, CSS, Terminal, Git, VSCode is a plus.
