Join our dynamic team as a Senior Presales Solutions Engineer and play a pivotal role in helping our clients overcome data fragmentation challenges. You will work consultatively with clients and partners, understanding their unique business needs and delivering compelling demonstrations of CData’s capabilities. This is an opportunity to leverage your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to drive successful client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical sales activities, including discovery, demonstrations, evaluations, proof of concepts (POCs), and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Coordinate and manage complex RFPs, deals, and internal projects.
- Collaborate with Sales Executives to understand and address client requirements.
- Conduct in-depth discovery to identify client business and technical needs.
- Deliver engaging and customized product demonstrations.
- Oversee product implementation and provide timely technical support.
- Tailor messaging and presentations to meet client-specific needs.
- Potentially provide mentorship and leadership to other Solutions Engineers.
- Present strategic insights to senior leaders and decision-makers.
- Contribute to sales enablement initiatives.
- Identify market trends and opportunities, providing feedback to executive teams.
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of CData’s product portfolio and the competitive landscape.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Integrate client feedback into the product road map.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
- 7+ years of experience in data integration and enterprise software solutions.
- Proven track record as a technology thought leader.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java or C# preferred).
- Strong presales discovery and solutions selling experience.
- Advanced knowledge of database systems and SQL.
- Experience presenting to senior-level executives.
- Strategic thinking and exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
