Your Role:
As a Senior PHP/Laravel Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our core platform, which supports over 30 sub-domains for online courses, masterclasses, forums, and community events across the globe. You will work within a team of experienced developers, contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle, from decision-making to deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain back-end modules for interaction-design.org, focusing on new feature development, refactoring, and bug resolution.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, adhering to strict coding standards and contributing to open-source projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine specifications and implement new features.
- Maintain and enhance comprehensive documentation.
- Implement test-driven development (TDD) and expand test coverage.
- Proactively refactor code and architecture to reduce technical debt.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and knowledge sharing.
- Deploy features incrementally using feature branches or flags.

About You:
- Expert knowledge of PHP and Laravel.
- Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Proficiency in software engineering fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
- Mastery of automated testing, particularly unit tests.
- Commitment to continuous learning and skill improvement.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
- Self-motivated and disciplined, thriving in a remote, flat-hierarchy environment.
