About the Role:
As a Senior Brand Designer at Retool, you will be a key driver in evolving our visual identity. This is a unique opportunity to influence the brand experience for a platform used by a diverse range of companies, from startups to Fortune 500s. You’ll collaborate closely with product, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure a cohesive and compelling brand presence across all touchpoints.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with cross-functional teams to create exceptional brand experiences across retool.com, marketing campaigns, content, events, and product interfaces.
- Maintain and expand Retool’s brand system, ensuring scalability and consistency.
- Champion the brand, guiding its strategic application across all platforms.
- Collaborate with external partners on illustration, motion graphics, video, and other creative assets.
- Design with a focus on iteration, experimentation, and user feedback.
- Ensure brand consistency while exploring innovative approaches to visual expression.
- Actively participate in design reviews and critiques.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in visual design, either in-house or at an agency.
- Strong understanding of design principles, including typography, color, layout, and composition.
- Portfolio demonstrating expertise in brand systems across various mediums (web, print, digital campaigns, product, etc.).
- Passion for branding and a proven track record of creating impactful visual identities.
- Experience collaborating with motion designers (motion design experience is a plus).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proactive, self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
