Daily responsibilities include:
- Analyzing Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) and attack signatures to identify and counter emerging threats.
- Collaborating closely with IT, application experts, and Security Operations Center (SOC) teams.
- Performing security assessments, including penetration testing, leveraging frameworks like Mitre Att&ck.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of incident response tools and processes.

This 1-to-2-year work-study position is ideal for students currently pursuing an Engineering degree or equivalent (Bac +4/5) specializing in IT or Cybersecurity. Thales is looking for candidates with:
- A solid foundation in cybersecurity principles, network protocols, and intrusion detection.
- Knowledge of common cyberattack techniques and corresponding defense/detection measures.
- Familiarity with security tools like SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and antivirus solutions.
- Skills in scripting (Python, PowerShell preferred) for automation and analysis.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English for the international environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
