Job Responsibilities
As a Senior Welding-Fabrication Engineer at Borouge, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of the company’s operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Welding Standards: Developing and maintaining welding procedures, ensuring compliance with international standards, and recommending materials for various applications.
- Internal Welding Support: Providing technical expertise during project execution, troubleshooting welding issues, and participating in incident investigations.
- Welding Qualification: Conducting welder qualification tests, maintaining welder databases, and auditing fabrication contractors.
- Metallurgy: Applying your knowledge of metallurgy to solve material-related issues, participating in technical bid evaluations, and developing Borouge’s competence in this area.
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A university degree in a related science or engineering discipline.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in welding, metallurgy, or related fields.
- Experience in the oil and gas production industry.
- Strong knowledge of international welding and fabrication standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
