Mumbai, India – Borouge, a leading provider of innovative polyolefin solutions, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr./Engineer, Application Development for its Packaging Asia South division. Reporting to the Head, Application Development, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing technical support to packaging manufacturers and their value chain partners across Southeast Asia and the Indian Subcontinent. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting, addressing quality inquiries, conducting new product trials, and developing technical documentation. The role also involves identifying new business opportunities and contributing to product innovation.

What you’ll do:

• Provide technical support to packaging manufacturers.
• Lead and contribute to application development projects.
• Identify new customer needs and contribute to product innovation.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to promote Borouge packaging solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with key value chain partners.

What you’ll need:

• University degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent. M.Sc. preferred.
• 5-10 years of experience in polyolefin packaging manufacturing or technology.
• Strong technical expertise in polyolefin packaging.
• In-depth market and value chain knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
