Drive Production Efficiency at ADNOC
The production Optimization Specialist will play a key role in planning, managing, and coordinating activities to ensure production and injection targets are met safely and efficiently. This involves close collaboration with various departments to optimize field operations, improve reliability, and implement best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Planning & Monitoring: Develop short and long-term production programs, analyze operating history, and implement strategies for continuous optimization.
- Operational Leadership: Lead monthly operational planning, coordinate field shutdown plans, and liaise with the SAP coordinator for PM activities.
- Technology & Innovation: Evaluate new technologies and tools, identify production optimization challenges, and capture best practices for future projects.
- Crude Oil Lifting: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate planning and execution of crude oil lifting, reporting to shareholders based on production targets and inventories.
- Teamwork & Supervision: Plan and coordinate work site activities, train and develop assigned staff, and contribute to a high-performing team.
- Budget Management: Assist in budget development and monitor expenditures to ensure cost control.
- HSE & Risk Management: Promote HSE policies and procedures, participate in risk assessments, and contribute to the risk management system.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 12-15 years of experience in oil and gas operations, including crude oil inventory and lifting procedures.
- Working knowledge of production operations and SMART field concepts.
- Experience with SAP/PIES/Hydrocarbon Accounting Systems.
Technical Competencies:
- Pre-commissioning, commissioning, installation, and start-up of E&P facilities.
- Knowledge of DCS, FGS, and ESD systems.
- Familiarity with Smart Field Technology.
- Excellent knowledge of site workflows and plant processes.
- Strong HSE awareness.
- Proficient in MS applications and IT skills.
