Drive ADIB’s Growth: Business Development Manager Opportunity
This role focuses on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, promoting ADIB’s Islamic banking products, and driving revenue growth. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing product penetration and supporting ADIB’s strategic cross-sell initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with the Wholesale Banking Group and other stakeholders to identify business potential within new and existing corporate client portfolios.
- Proactively meet with prospective clients to showcase ADIB’s retail products and services.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities, customer needs, and market trends.
- Manage the entire contract and agreement process, ensuring timely conversions and client satisfaction.
- Track sales, revenue, and key performance indicators to monitor progress and inform strategic decisions.
- Continuously promote ADIB’s offerings, addressing client objectives and concerns.
- Provide market intelligence on competitors to maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored client propositions that align with Islamic banking principles.
- Increase key product penetration within assigned portfolios.
- Provide exceptional customer support and address client complaints effectively.
- Propose campaigns and identify opportunities to enhance product penetration.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
What You’ll Need:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Development Manager or similar, preferably in banking.
- Proven track record in customer support and relationship management.
- Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Strong understanding of Islamic banking principles and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and data analysis tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field (Master’s or Islamic finance certifications are advantageous).
