What’s the Job?
Metso is at the forefront of electrifying and automating mineral processing. The Chief Engineer will play a crucial role in:
- Designing and implementing process electrification for large-scale metallurgical plants.
- Managing the delivery of key electrical components, including MV and LV switchgear, transformers, and drives.
- Leading international engineering teams and partners.
- Providing technical expertise for sales and project development.
- Overseeing installation and commissioning on-site.
- Developing future electrification technologies.
Who’s the Ideal Candidate?
Metso is looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in industrial process electrification.
- A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of MV and LV drives and power distribution.
- Familiarity with international standards (IEC, GOST-R, NEMA).
- Excellent English communication skills and a willingness to travel.
- The ability to manage budgets, schedules, and quality.
