Role Overview:

As a Content Intern at MDCalc, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and expanding our clinical content offerings. Reporting to the Director of Clinical Content, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and launch new content that supports millions of healthcare professionals worldwide. This part-time, remote position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the healthcare technology sector and contribute to a platform that significantly impacts patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the content pipeline and improving existing content to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of content development and management processes.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create new and engaging clinical content.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Gain insights into clinical operations and identify opportunities to enhance platform utilization and value.
  • Support product growth strategies through data analysis and execution of growth plans.
  • Communicate effectively with clinicians and senior management.

Requirements:

  • Current enrollment in a business or public health undergraduate or postgraduate program.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
  • Working knowledge of Python or R, with a strong willingness to learn Javascript.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify key insights.
  • Passion for the healthcare industry and the intersection of technology and innovation.
  • Strong independent work ethic and excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Location in or near New York City (though remote work is fully supported).
  • Experience in startup or healthcare environments.
